The Archdiocese of New York is distributing a coloring book that aims to teach children to protect themselves from scary adults—including priests. Critics say the book is too easy on the clergy. According to the national director of the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests, "It does seem as though church officials are still reluctant to admit that, in fact, their own clergy can be—and are—predators."

The actual coloring book can be downloaded here (pdf). 23/6 did just that, and has taken the liberty of rewriting some of the copy. We hope this more accurately addresses the concerns of critics.
