   Quick Quiz: More Mitt

Fresh off Mitt Romney's much-needed win in the Michigan primary (magic underwear, you finally came through!), Paul Slansky takes another look at the man all the other Republican candidates have come to loathe—partly, to be sure, out of envy for his hair and physique, but mainly because he's actively loathsome.

1) Complete Mitt Romney's quote: "Gosh, I love ________"
Battlefield Earth.
the Bushes.
America.
2) False or true? Recalling the 2006 signing ceremony for his healthcare bill, Mitt Romney got an easy laugh by saying he'd been "a little concerned when Teddy Kennedy showed up."
False. He never would have said such a thing because Teddy Kennedy had played a key behind-the-scenes role in the bill's success, and had been invited to the event by Romney.
True, even though Teddy Kennedy had played a key behind-the-scenes role in the bill's success, and had been invited to the event by Romney.
3) Complete Mitt Romney's quote: "My favorite thing to do is to _______________"
curl up on the couch and watch Big Love.
bathe in data, do analysis, reach conclusions, and then find a breakthrough.
get all sugared up.
4) Which of these lies did Mitt Romney tell?
He implied that he was an avid hunter and was forced to admit that he'd only been hunting a couple of times, and then only for "small varmints" (and then, it turned out, without a license).
He said he had the endorsement of the NRA, but - oops - he didn't.
Both of the above, plus he claimed that he'd watched his father George - a failed GOP candidate himself 40 years ago - march with Martin Luther King, Jr. in Michigan though no such thing happened, and when this falseness was pointed out his spokesman explained that Romney had been "speaking figuratively, not literally."
5) During his failed 1994 effort to defeat Senator Ted Kennedy, what did Mitt Romney say was his greatest personal failing?
He only had time to help the needy one day a week.
He could never wear the special underwear because he sweats a lot and it chafed him.
He suffers from a compulsion to say whatever he thinks he needs to say to win.
