Election 2008

It's nice that Mac is back, but did he have to bring that guy?

As John McCain (l) speaks, Joe Lieberman (r) imagines caressing that strong, muscular back.

Former POW/Arizona senator/GOP presidential hopeful/ferret owner John McCain has been cutesily evading questions about whether he'll pick his colleague and campaign buddy Joe Lieberman as his running mate in the 2008 presidential election, given their mutual love of the Iraq war and status as party-befuddling mavericks. When asked about the "Lieberman factor", McCain gushed, "He'd be a great partner in any endeavor."

Any endeavor? Are we talking about the same Joe Lieberman? Jewish fella from Connecticut? Lieberman hasn't exactly proven his mettle as a VP candidate just yet, but we can think of plenty of other activities in which he would be a great partner.
