From the Feed: The more things change, the more they stay tepidly respectful of Ronald Reagan
Obama and Hillary fight over who praised Ronald Reagan more:
It's the classic election season "Who loved Ronald Reagan enough to appeal to moderate Republicans but not so much that they offend the generally-Reagan-hating Democratic base" game. It's just nice to see these two candidates of CHANGE making cautiously positive, toothless statements about a former president who was responsible for Iran-Contra, countless AIDS deaths, and shifting the American economy into a system that permanently benefits the super-rich so as not to offend members of the political party currently responsible for the war in Iraq, the bungling of Katrina, and legalizing torture.
Yay! Change!
