23/6 Preview: the state of the State of the Union
Tonight, President Bush gives his final State of the Union address. What can we expect? If last year's speech is any indication, lot of insincere applause and a plastic surgery perma-smile.
And what will Bush's mood be for what amounts to his exit interview? Ominously, we hear that he's expected to announce he's not even going to try to get the security deposit back when he moves out of the White House. Get the cleanup crew ready.
Though we couldn't get an advance copy of the speech, we did manage to cobble together an advance tag cloud for what we presume will be the text of the address.
