What's the public and media to do after Gov. Eliot Spitzer was caught up in a sex and prostitution scandal? Pass around Spitzer jokes and make copious what-was-he-thinking comments around the water cooler, of course.

So let's see if we get this straight: A balding, rather dorky-looking governor who ran in 2006 on a platform of "cleaning up" politics has been caught texting a high-priced hooker service, employing prostitutes for the past six months?
