Dollar hits new low, ain't looking so hot either
Just in time for the dollar to hit a 12-year low against the yen (and for the euro and the Swiss franc to soarbut who's counting?), the U.S. Treasury introduced its redesigned $5 bill with the motto: Safer. Smarter. More secure.
And apparently, weirder and a lot more like it was designed by a team of stoned...people who design money. 23/6 dissects a few of the odder features of the new bill, many of which seem borrowed from other currency.
