Hillary Clinton apologizes for marginalizing that black candidate
Hillary Clinton, speaking to a group of more than 200 black community newspapers, apologized for racial comments that supporter Geraldine Ferraro made about Barack Obama. Clearly on a roll, the senator also expressed regret for Bill Clinton's comments during the South Carolina primary, which essentially cast Obama as the "black" candidate. "You know," she said, "I am sorry if anyone was offended...we can be proud of both Jesse Jackson and Senator Obama."
To commemorate the senator's regret, Hallmark has released a new line of cards aimed at offended African-Americans. It's called the Hillary Clinton collection.
