Election 2008

Perhaps owing to a election resting on race, age, gender, and wacky religious affiliation, the past year has been rife with snide, racist, and stupid comments followed by the obligatory apology, if not merely the obligatory "I'm sorry...if my remarks offended anyone."

The latest gaffe came on Fox News (natch), where contributor Liz Trotta said:

And now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama, uh Obama. Well, both, if we could.
