McClellan shocker: more bombshells from the memoir

"Scotty, you been a baaaaad boy."

Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan has a book coming out next week that contains shocking revelations about the Bush Administration. Well...at least, shocking in the sense that they're coming from Bush flak McClellan. Among the INCREDIBLE, SHOCKING revelations, as reported by the Washington Post:

  • Bush did cocaine when he was younger.
  • Bush used propaganda in the lead up to the war.
  • Bush is out of touch with the American people.
  • The press corps was too easy on Bush during the lead up to the war.
  • White House higher ups got together to "get their story straight" about the CIA leak case.

But wait! Pick yourself up off the floor because 23/6 has uncovered some other jaw-dropping quotations from the book that have yet to be reported:

  • "George W. Bush wouldn't have gotten to where he is if he hadn't had a famous father."
  • "George W. was never a top-notch soldier."
  • "Dana Perino? Not the sharpest knife in the drawer."
  • "The well-being of the average American is not at the top of Dick Cheney's list of concerns."
  • "It's quite possible that George W. Bush will not ultimately rank as one of the our top thirty presidents."
  • "Despite what some people have said, President Bush did not want black people to die in New Orleans. However, he did hope they would not relocate to any areas of Texas that he likes to frequent."
  • "Your girlfriend will not like your threesome-with-her-sister idea."
  • "The truth is, Head-On Headache Relief is for idiots who don't understand how medicine works."
  • "Traffic is annoying when you're in a rush."
  • "I know I'm going against conventional wisdom here, but I think subprime mortgages are a bad idea."
  • "Britney Spears has fallen from grace. There, I've said it. I know some of you are going to be angry and disagree, but it's simply what I believe to be true."
  • "Donald Rumsfeld is a bit rough around the edges. And he preferred not to go into great detail regarding the number of deaths in Iraq."
  • "POGs are just not as popular as they used to be."
