Bush says his wars are like WWII 'cause, um, just 'cause

George Bush (r) wants you to feel his bicep.

President Bush is blithely waving away the shitstorm caused by former White House press secretary Scott McClellan's tell-all with one hand, while masturbating Ronald Reagan's ghost-penis with the other. During his commencement speech to over a thousand Air Force Academy grads Wednesday, Bush asserted that today's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are like World War II. He elaborated, "[B]y helping these young democracies grow in freedom and prosperity we will once again reap the benefits in generations of security and peace."

Bush's gung-ho attitude has always evoked, however ersatzly, the fervent optimism of America's pro-war efforts in the 1940s. So much so, in fact, we're wondering: Has the Bush administration been taking a page from the Greatest Generation's propaganda mill?
