Rupert Murdoch loves Obama—Fox News to give him the Fox News treatment

Rupert Murdoch can really relate to these young Obama supporters.

Eschewing his own network's fervent anti-Obama stances, Fox News patriarch Rupert Murdoch has said at The Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital conference that Barack Obama will win the presidency in a "landslide." The rumpled Aussie conservative also said the following:

[Obama] is a rock star. It's fantastic. I love what he is saying about education. I want to meet [him]. I want to know if he's going to walk the walk.

Hold it. Did Murdoch run his comments past the overstuffed egos at Fox News—Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Neil Cavuto? Doesn't seem like he did. Just how will the Fox News family handle Murdoch's progressive and pragmatic change of heart? We have a few ideas.

Wouldn't it great if the Aussie fired O'Reilly, Hannity, Douche Bag and the rest of the gang? Imagaine Ann Coulter doing infomercials for carpet cleaners!

It would be more comforting to have heard an explanation from Rupert Murdoch for his uncharacteristicly intelligent remarks. As it is, it is difficult to believe that he doesn't have some hidden motivation.

This authoritarian power freak has an ego that would not allow remarks by his skraeling like O'Reilly and Hannity to go unpunished. If they get away with their remarks, then we will be fairly sure that Murdoch is disingenuous when he calls Obama a "rockstar".
