News for Kids: Hillary's High School Horror Show

With both popular opinion and basic mathematics having dashed her presidential hopes, Hillary Clinton now faces the uncomfortable situation of returning to her old job as a United States Senator. Once a popular, up-and-coming legislator, Hillary's bitter campaign for the Democratic nomination has tarnished her reputation, and several of her colleagues have been outspoken in favoring her rival, Barack Obama.

No longer part of Capitol Hill's "cool crowd," Hillary must adjust to life as a social outcast. It's like high school all over again, and even kids who don't know much about politics can relate to the struggles of a picked-on outcast who nobody wants to sit with at lunch.

Just a few years back, Hillary Clinton was one of the most popular girls at Senate High School.
