Last week, we promised that every time the GOP or Fox or a 527 launched a smear attack against Michelle Obama, we'd remind Americans of an untidy fact about Cindy McCain. Well, it's six days later and guess who's smearing Mrs. Obama? Cindy McCain herself! During an appearance on Good Morning America, she commented on Obama's "proud" gaffe, saying "I don't know why she said what she said, all I know is that I have always been proud of my country."

All right, girl, here we go again:
