Republican Mike Erickson, who is running for an Oregon congressional seat on a pro-life platform, paid for his girlfriend's abortion seven years ago. Erickson claims he had no idea that his gift of three hundred dollars, cash, was used to pay for an abortion. Hard to believe, considering Erickson told his girlfriend, "Tawnya," he did not want the baby before dropping her off at the clinic. Tawnya spoke up after receiving a campaign mailer championing her ex-boyfriend's position on life.
