McCain goes to Sturgis: because 50,000 fat guys in leather can't be wrong
Someone who answered McCain's challenge about "a cause greater than oneself."
Barack Obama made a speech to 200,000 Berliners, and John McCain responded by standing up in front of a different group with a violent past and a penchant for odd facial hair and leather uniforms: the motorcycle enthusiasts at the Sturgis bike rally in South Dakota.
"Not long ago, a couple of hundred thousand Berliners made a lot of noise for my opponent. I'll take the roar of fifty thousand Harleys any day," said McCain. To which some rally attendees responded "Fuck him! Fuck Obama!" Stay classy, Sturgis.
McCain then encouraged his wife Cindy to enter the topless Miss Buffalo Chip contest. She apparently didn't take him up on his offer, but, who knows, throw a few Vicodin in her and maybe she'll reconsider.
