RSSBarack Obama won't stop texting us
These things cost us 5 cents each man!
We were as excited as anybody to get text messages from Barack Obama about his VP choice. Now we're hearing that the strategy was an effort to build a cell phone number database to get out the vote. The Obama campaign says they're trying to make sure they limit their texting to important announcements, but so far we can't say they're doing that good a job. Here's the one we got today....
No, dude, we're not coming! This is worth me digging my Blackberry out of my shorts? Barack Obama is seeing Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, two weeks after it freaking opened? How has he avoided spoilers for that long? Thanks for the invite, new, technologically with-it presidential candidate, but we already saw it and it was just okay. Now lay off for a while, will you? Jeez.
