Was John McCain in a cone of silence or was there just a problem with his hearing aids?
Apparently, John McCain did so well at Saturday's forum at Saddleback Church that people assume he had to have cheated. Obama and McCain were interviewed separately, with Obama going first, while McCain was supposedly kept isolated in a "Cone of Silence" to prevent him from hearing the questions in advance. The New York Times has asserted that McCain was actually on his way to the church during Obama's interview, and could have heard the live feed in his motorcade.
Andrea Mitchell raised the question of McCain getting advance preparation on "Meet The Press," and many Obama supporters are grabbing onto that possibility to undercut the praise being lavished upon McCain for his performance.
