Peggy Noonan as you've neverseen her before- honest

You've probably seen it already: the moment Peggy Noonan's career almost went down in flames. That will teach her to tell the truth. If you haven't seen it, during a commercial break in an appearance on MSNBC, Noonan and Republican consultant Mike Murphy were discussing the Palin pick, but their mics were still on. Noonan said the pick was "political bullshit" and the race was "over." A day later, lesson learned, she went back carrying water, claiming in a column that what she really meant was that the days of the Republican base being in sync with America are what is "over."

Whew. Crisis averted. Like the rest of them, Peggy knows why she's hired, and she promises not to tell the truth (on a live mic) anymore.

Sadly, we're unlikely to hear much more from private Peggy, who seems a lot more likable and fun than public Peggy, who was obviously none to pleased that the former crashed the set...
