Joe Biden practicing not laughing when Palin speaks
Joe Biden has begun to prepare for his debate with Sarah Palin on October 2nd. Unfortunately for Joe, under the rules of American political debates knowing stuff doesn't actually matter. What does this mean? That Biden has no chance of "winning," unless Palin starts speaking in tongues or something. Though even that might not do it (Blitzer: "When Palin starting speaking in tongues, it really showed that she can communicate in a variety of ways. Many are saying that moment was a home-run.")
It hardly matters what Biden says, the die is cast. Something he says, whether its pronouncing "Pakistan" correctly or just knowing the difference between Sunni and Shia, will be said the next day to be "condescending." Palin will be "forceful" and "confident." Shockingly enough, "to the surprise of many critics, Palin more than held her own!"
Joe obviously has no idea what he's in store for.
But you can. Try the Sarah Palin Debate Chat Bit, and you'll get sense of what it's going to be like for Biden to debate Palin...

You're now a Fan of Jingo.
Is there any way he can phone it in? Technically the Republicans already are.
