John McHipster: Irony First

Anybody up for an ironic 80's video game?

Finally, in the middle of all the bailout talk someone -- the Huffington Post -- is bringing up the Keating Five, an offshoot of the S&L debacle that should have (and almost did) cost John McCain his career. We'll leave to Huffpost to go through the details (short version: everything John McCain has ever said about his support of regulation is a lie), but just look at the photo.

Sure, McCain doesn't want to dredge up this period in his life, but maybe he should at least bring back the look -- he's getting crushed by Obama in the crucial hipster doofus demo. A 23/6 poll has him running behind on Obama on the L-Train by 98-2 (+/- 3 percent).

He should bring back those glasses, put on some tube socks and an ironic 80's, neon t-shirt and go after Obama's strength. He's halfway there already:

McCain spent years denying the existences of POWs. His main opponent in this has been fruit loop Perot...is there now real proof?

Hipsters and republicans are the same to me. Annoying spoiled little rich bastards who need to a severe beating. The 80's and all of the hideous clothing styles it brought to the world are dead. Stop being "ironic" and own up to the fact that your taste is suspect like a true "patriot" who votes GOP.
