GOP attacks on Gwen Ifill: racist, sexist or just predictable?
The GOP is in a tizzy today at the revelation that VP debate moderator Gwen Ifill is writing a pro-Obama book. Big deal, aren't we all?
The book is called "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama." Though the book appears to be not so much "pro-Obama" and more about how his campaign has changed the political landscape, it can be suggested that Ifill now has a financial stake in the election, seeing as sales of her book about the "Age of Obama" might suffer if that "age" comes to a perceived end on November 4th. Plus, the book is scheduled to come out on inauguration day, which means people might not be rushing out to the book launch party if McCain's the one being sworn in that day.
Okay, so maybe she has a teensy bit riding on this election. But we took a look at the book's table of contents, and we gotta say we just don't see what the GOP is so paranoid about. Take a look after the jump:

Let's deal with the elephant in the room called DOUBLE STANDARDCase in point: Obama has been on the national scene, went on every major outlet and has done interviews/press conferences ad nauseum, has his record, backgroud, associations, wife ridiculed. There are voters who are stil undecided. Really? Then there's Palin who was chosen at the last minute to be veep, is folksy, under ethics investigation, refuses to talk to the msm, vapid, husband belonged to fringe group Alaska Independence Party who wants to succeed from the U.S., has a unwed teenage pregnant daughter, yet she must be shown "deference" in order to speak to the media?

I'd like to see an ex-GI paraplegic, wheel chair user confront the frat boys on the 24/7 news feeds. Seeing a frat boy running from a wheel chair would be gr8.
