Sarah Palin's '96 doodles as meaningful as her '08 speeches

The National Review Online found a Wasilla budget documents from 1996 and noticed the back was covered in doodles made by one Miss Sarah Palin. She listed her pros ("lifelong Alaskan") and workshopped mayoral campaign themes like "Time for a change" and "Taxpayer!" The doodles reveal the mind of a young Sarah Palin racked with self-confidence. Somewhat bold statements are crossed out and replaced by extremely bold statements. You can download the original by clicking on the image.

This is real --->

She hasn't stopped doodling. In July, Gov. Palin flipped over a Troopergate affadavit and drew/wrote a list of her strengths and selling points for the McCain campaign, which was looking for a Veep. Take a look.

I would cite, as my principle qualification for VP, my preference for remaining seated.
