Conservatives have a new prize to hate: The Nobel
Great news -- a blogger just won the Nobel Prize in Economics! Was it Perez Hilton for his trenchant analysis of putting "I'm cumming!!" on Ben Bernanke's face? No, Perez was narrowly beaten out by Paul Krugman, who not only has a column at the New York Times, but a blog as well.
According to AP, Krugman won for his "analysis of how economies of scale can affect international trade patterns." But he might just as well have won for calling the GOP "the party of stupid."
That's why the news is not very welcome in right-wing nutland. Over at The Corner, readers are speculating that Krugman only got it because the award is "political."
How are other right-wingers reacting? Your guess is as good as ours. Take the poll...
