How will your name be purged from voting rolls?

We probably shouldn't have put the paper shredder so close to the voting machine.

Even though the election is just days away, there's still time to have your civil rights egregiously infringed upon. Voters all over the country are worried that their names might be purged from voting rolls, rendering them ineligible to vote. In one case, 50 thousand registered Georgia voters had their names flagged because of computer mismatches in their ID information. One college student even received a letter informing her that she had been purged because she was not a U.S. citizen. The woman was born in Boston.

With so many ways to get screwed this Election Day, we asked our our staff to answer this question: why will your name be purged from registration records?. If our results are anything like the electorate's, November 4th is gonna be ugly:
