Sean, are you okay?

We're worried about you Buddy.

In the wake of Obama's victory, Sean Hannity appears to be going through his own personal five stages of death: Anger, Denial, Anger, Denial, and Denial. In a new series, 23/6 checks in on Sean to see how he's holding up.

Today, it's DENIAL. Here's a clip of Sean talking to Karl Rove about Obama's visit to the White House. Grief counseling after the jump...

Wow. Glad you got all that off your chest. Now, take a sip of water.

"If we can begin looking back now." Because that's the only way to keep from looking forward, isn't it Sean? If we can begin looking back now, and if we look back hard enough maybe we can go back in time and fight all that pesky "demonization." And by looking back and doing all that demon-fighting, maybe we can make it so that the GOP has a better chance to win last Tuesday's election.

Dammit Sean, stop focusing on what you didn't do! You couldn't have saved them! They marched into this election knowing they were marching into their own graves, and nothing you might have said or done over the last eight years could have changed that. YOU'RE JUST ONE MAN GODDAMMIT!

It's not your fault, Sean.

It's not your fault.

You take your time and work through this. Look through some old photo albums. Rewatch the press conferences. Maybe scream the word "no" into a pillow or two. You take all the time in the world. But no matter how long you take, those four words will remain just as true as they are today:

Its. Not. Your. Fault.

(Well, actually it's kinda your fault.)

This is the trouble with the common, right-wing media. You can train them to regurgitate just about anything. It's getting them to shut up that's the trick.

He's got a very girlish voice and effeminate mannerisms. I think Sean is a woman trapped in a man's body. A very stupid woman at that.

--the HELL????

"GWB inherited a recession" ???

He seriously thought he could spit that out and have no one notice???

The truth can easily be achieved with single-word swapouts, however:

Clinton inherited a recession

GWB inherited a surplus

GWB caused a recession

I'd be happy with any of those three.

I really hope someone makes it their crusade for the next 4 years to pair up any new Fox comment about limits or accountability on Executive power with the exact opposite comment from the last 8 years. Shouldn't be very difficult.

Go Fox yourself, Hannity.

W is giving Obama the mother of all depressions. Thanx Fother Mucker, thanx a lott. Go back to Crawford. Don't pain us anus. They're going to need 5 floors of rest rooms for W's library since W is nothing but a dumb $#it. W's going home via the alimentary canal. Yes, it's $#it city via @$$ hole junction for W. He wanted to leave Washington by rail. Amtrak said, "Sure, you can leave by rail, tarred, feathered & tied to a rail. You got it, W".
