Joe Lieberman Apology-to-Obama-o-tron

Judas to be forgiven.

Evan Bayh wants rogue Democrat Joseph Lieberman to apologize for attacking President-elect Obama throughout the campaign. During an appearance on the Rachel Maddow show, the Indiana senator said to a fictional Joe:

"Look, we're giving you a chance here, but if you don't do the right things as chairman, and we see any continuation of this kind of behavior ...the game is up at that point."

Lieberman is currently chairman of Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee, and he has expressed an intense desire to keep that position. Lest we forget, the Connecticut senator spoke at the Republican National Convention and endorsed loser John McCain.

Let's help Joe Lieberman concoct the perfect apology!

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. Remember, I too used to be a member a minority group despised in many quarters of this country. That is, a smug politician who claimed to be a Democrat who would only serve two terms, who continually backed a Republican Administration and its attendant felons, who lied to his constituents when he lost his primary, who pretended to be an "Independent Democrat" caucusing with the Democrats because they happened to offer me a chairmanship of a committee when I never had any intent toward true oversight....Ah, forget it.
