Poll: Obama broke a promise. How does that make you feel?

I lied. You don't like it? There's the door!

Many on the left aren't sure how to react to word that their president-elect has broken a promise. Obama's campaign promise to impose a windfall tax on oil companies has apparently been taken off the table. How do you feel knowing that The One might have mislead you? Take our poll!

Obama broke his promise to you. How does that make you feel?

His plan is not for us to comprehend. His plan is for us to follow.

I'm pissed! The only reason I voted for him was his promise to make rich guys cry.

How far is he gonna backpedal? The first time he says "Drill Baby Drill" I'm gonna shoot myself in the face.

If I were in his shoes,I would wait for the next Quarter profit report and if it showed profits in the tens of billions then consider a windfall tax.
I really,really,really hate to side with anything conservative but a lot of the most unfortunate would be hurt by a windfall tax this winter
on the heating oil prices.
That said,there needs be an investigation into the price gouging of Heating Oil in Alaska where prices are nearing $10.00 per gallon and theft is rampant.

So much pressure on someone who has not taken oath. He does not have the authority to do anything yet but appoint people and try to get the ball rolling until 1/21/09. Give the man a break Tsk. Tsk. People.

Except it would be easier to pass a bill now w/ the oil prices being so low. Once they get hire... the Oil companies w/ fight like hell... and the Dems are too weak to stand up to Lieberman... I doubt they could handle the Oil Companies.
