By now, you're probably knee-deep in the salacious details of the arrest of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Despite already being the subject of investigation, Blago held phone calls in which he discussed plans to auction off Barack Obama's senate seat and his desire to oust unfriendly members of the Chicago Tribune editorial board. All of this was captured on FBI wiretaps, making for some deliciously gleeful reading. Transcripts include the governor telling chief of staff John Harris that he "wants to make money," and feature a wealth of F-bombs dropped by both Blagojevich and his lovely wife, Patti.
Oh, Rod. You should know better. Get with the times! Put down the phone and pick up Instant Messenger. The Feds will never find you there. Or will they?
