Chicken v Hawk: Rush Limbaugh attacks Colin Powell
Oh, it's on. Last week, former Secretary of State Colin Powell asked if Republicans should be listening to Rush Limbaugh.
"Is this really the kind of party that we want to be when these kinds of spokespersons seem to appeal to our lesser instincts rather than our better instincts?"
Mr. Lesser Instincts responded, "Powell's not a Republican. McCain's not a Republican. These guys are not even mavericks. They are Washingtonians."
Limbaugh, of course, is a Floridian. (Except when he needs meds over the weekend, then he is a Dominican.) Listen, we're not fans of Gen. Powell. He helped sell the Iraq war and even worse, sired Michael Powell, the tool who tried to make America moral again via his job at the FCC. But Rush Limbaugh is not fit to lick the fake anthrax off General Powell's boots.
