Oh yeah, they made the list.
There were a whole lot of people to hate in 2008. You had all those jerks who were responsible for the global economic collapse (ie: everybody), and you had all those turkeys trying to keep Barack Obama from taking his rightful post as our most supreme and infallible leader. Then you had the Mormons (shudder). With so many targets for our naturally irascible personalities to lash out at, it got hard to keep track. So we figured the best thing to do would be to break them down into groups that we could hate en masse, letting just a few people color our judgment about huge populations. GOVERNORS
Normally, Americans can't even name the governor of their own state, let alone the governors of other states. In 2008, people like Rod Blagojevich, Sarah Palin, and Eliot Spitzer redefined the American governor as someone who is either a criminal, an idiot, or horny as hell. To give an idea of how much the position of state governor has been diminished, Eliot Spitzer got caught sleeping with a hooker, and America sympathized with the hooker. |
