Mark Felt, Watergate's "Deep Throat," finally silenced

He talked too much.

With the news that Mark Felt, Watergate's "Deep Throat," has died at age 95, we can only assume that someone finally got to him and shut him up. As the informant who helped bring the Watergate scandal to light, Felt tried to keep his identity concealed because he knew his life could be in danger. You can't being about the downfall of the leader of the free world and not expect to be come for eventually. For several decades, the true identity of Deep Throat remained a secret. Then in May of 2005 it was revealed that Felt was in fact the man who brought down Nixon. Only three and a half years later, Mark Felt is dead. Coincidence?

The fact that it took three and half years to carry out the killing attests to the skills Felt developed in the FBI. But being in his early-to-mid 90's, he was bound to slip up eventually, and his pursuers knew it. They kept on his trail, waiting for that one perfect opportunity. And when the opportunity came, they took it. It's being reported that the cause of death was not immediately known, which indicates just how good the team that finally silenced Felt really is. This kind of work is definitely outside of CIA, likely black ops.

One might wonder why anyone in the government or otherwise might feel the need to silence Felt after so many years. The answer is obvious: Felt knew a whole lot more than what came out during Watergate, and they were afraid he was going to start talking again. The fact that he revealed his true identity indicated that Felt was feeling bold, and might be ready to sing to a reporter if his button doesn't get pushed in time. Never mind that many of the people he could implicate are long since deceased. Information is power, and Felt had way too much of it.

Here's to Mark Felt. He was just too much of a blabbermouth for his own good, God bless him.

It took Stalin a long time to kill Trotsky too. Chuck Colson & G Gordon Liddy have been ruled out by those who think Mr Felt was murdered. RB Cheney is said to be a person of interest to those who claim that Mr Felt was murdered. Unfounded reports say that former AG Gonzales is ratting out on Cheney & that Cheney will be questioned about the matter on 1/23/09.

In a related story, Texas whore, Debbie Markowitz, is recovering from her third hip replacement surgery. The former NFL cheerleader is best known as the inspiration for the classic '70's "art" film, Debbie Does Dallas III: We're Almost to the Suburbs.
