Retailers to consumers: "Thanks for nothing, jerks!"

Shoppers really didn't come through this holiday season.

Dammit shoppers, you're ruining Christmas! Terrified of how low this Christmas season's sales might turn out to be, retailers have been slashing prices left and right, doing everything they can to get shoppers to just come in and buy something for Pete's sake. But caught in the reality of a recession, consumers just aren't biting.

The discounts and rebates are really reflective of retailers' desperation. If you go out for some last minute shopping today, here are some of the window advertisements that might have you scratching your head:

How can they make a profit like that?!

Now that's not helping anybody. It's just rude!

Oh dear, this is depressing.

Okay! Now that's how you get people to slap down the credit card!

Now that America is back to its usual 76-24% liberal vs. conservative ratio the War on Christmas is in full effect,
A big thanks to all the liberals from the impoverished sweatshop workers
overseas.

it\'s true.. the retailers could care less about the consumers.. all they care about is the green.
