There's been a lot said about the positive effect President Obama will have on the self-image of African-Americans. With a black man in the white house, black children will know that there is nothing in this country they can't do.

That's great for blacks, but what about America's idiots? For eight years, anytime morons wondered whether their inability to read above a third grade level might hurt their chances for a prosperous life, they could look to President Bush and know dat bein' smart don't matter none. But now they see their hero leaving office under a cloud of shame. He's being called one of the worst presidents in history, and many go so far as to blame his poor performance on the fact that he's stupid as balls.

Michael Phelps World champion. Gold medal winner. Idiot. Michael Phelps didn't get where he is today by being smart. He got where he is today by swimming real fast. The only thing distinguishing about his ability is he can swim real fast even when there aren't any sharks around. Now he's signing million dollar endorsement deals and being a role model for kids everywhere. Not bad for a guy who some say is so stupid he once locked himself inside the trunk of his own car. But is he stupid as Bush? Some say maybe.
