31% of you like me! 31% of you really like me!
Bush just got a parting gift from the American people: his last Gallup polls shows that his approval rating went up to a year-long high of 31%. It's still in historically low territory, but, then again, it's still higher than a full thirty other numbers! That's a lot of numbers. Plus, the percentage of people that hate him has dropped to under two-thirds.
What could account for this new-found popularity? According to Gallup, it could be a traditional lame-duck out-going administration bounce. But we think that's being unfair. There must be plenty of other reasons why we're liking George Bush more these days. Take the poll and tell us what you think it is...

Honestly though, i think his poll numbers went up from two things. People pity him. & People are giving him a small pass because he's been publicy nice to Obama and politically helpful a little, since the election.
Otherwise, if the Media had made a bigger stink over Bush rebuffing the Obamas for the former australian failure, then its possible his numbers would have dropped.
That was ridiculous, and ...did they move in to that big house across from the white house now?
