The Olympic Opening Ceremonies in a minute

NBC's coverage of the Olympic Opening Ceremony clocked in at over four hours. While Zhang Yimou's display was certainly memorable—regardless of the CGI fireworks—even the Chinese couldn't figure out a way to computer generate a procession of obscure African/Eastern European countries that lasted less than three hours.

Hmmmm. Fine "synopsis" :)) I couldn't help but notice that the prez-i-dunce seemed a bit impatient -- glancing at his watch, etc.-- no doubt in a rush to get back to important international concerns --NASCAR reruns and a bottle of Jim Beam. Sad times.
