President Bush has been caught lying again:

[Hundreds of false statements about Iraq] were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.

That's the conclusion of a new, nonpartisan study by the Center for Public Integrity and the Fund for Independence in Journalism. Researchers found 935 false statements from the Bush administration over a two-year period.

It's, like, a pattern or something. And next week, Bush is giving his last State of the Union address, a bully pulpit he used for several deceptions fingered in the report. (Including the famous falsehood that Iraq "recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.") Now the Campaign for America's Future is launching a "reality check" campaign to correct falsehoods in the address. They just posted a prebuttal video on YouTube. The idea, apparently, is that we shouldn't have to wait five years to correct lies from the President of the United States.

You will need a street sweeper to clean up after Bush II's parade of lies. He will shoveling the horse s**t fast and furious during his last State of the Union address. Looking forward to your corrections.
