From the beginning, HuffPost has worked to bring our users the most dynamic mix of breaking news and opinion possible -- and to use the latest technology available to improve the user experience, and to bring you more of what you come here for.
With this goal in mind, we are rolling out a number of new features that will continue to make HuffPost a go-to web destination for up-to-the-minute news and fresh takes on the stories everyone is talking about.
For starters, we know that our readers have always loved the rapid updates on HuffPost's front page, so we've switched over to an Ajax interface that lets our stories and images load faster -- making the site more vibrant, and the updates more seamless. No more clicking and waiting for the site to refresh; the latest news stories, blog posts, and comments now automatically appear on the page.
We've also upgraded our Quick Read feature, which allows you to get the gist of a story without clicking to a new page. Now, when you open a Quick Read box, you are also shown four other stories that your fellow HuffPost readers have been drawn to -- and you can rapidly check out each of those stories without ever leaving the Quick Read box you initially opened. If you've never used the Quick Read feature, give it a try.
HuffPost's upgraded Quick Read feature
And we've added a "Most Popular on HuffPost" feature on the right hand side of every section's home page that allows you, at a glance, to see the hottest stories and blog posts from the last few days. It's continually updated and showcases a rotation of the top 12 HuffPost pieces at any given moment. And if you have your own blog site, you can add our Most Popular widget to it.
Of course, since these changes have been made with you in mind, we want to hear what you think of them -- good and bad. Let us know by sending an email to updates@huffingtonpost.com.
Thanks again for reading, posting, talking back, and being such an integral part of what we do. And if you haven't made HuffPost your home page, you can do so by clicking here.

Nice loading and quick read features.
This is where I come for Political News. I will post re: celebs just to be snarky because the whole section bugs me. You could lose the Living and Entertainment sections. Other online pubs handle those much better, so they're a waste of space here and they just make people angry at the stupid famous personalities.
WAY too many blogs! And most of them are soft and similar to one another. Blah.
The front page stories ought to be:
1. REAL news
2. Something voters can DO something about, not just froth
Nice tech features, yes, but you need some new editorial direction. Otherwise you're going to turn into a tabloid soon.
I love you, but you're racing down the wrong path.
You need a section on the Constitution and current threats to it by this and any future administrations. Call it "Constitution Watch" - maybe people will get some idea of the trouble we are in currently if you do this. Maybe they will actually read the Constitution and learn what is protecting them from what this administration would really like to do to them and why this is important.
I'd keep Politics, Media, and Business and drop the rest. Cheaper for you, too.
Arianna - So glad I can see and listen to you on the Abrams Report. He and his show is a pefect fit for us "thinking" Americans.
I agree with lungfish on the first post.
Your a good stable site that allows each member to reflect in hopes maybe someone out there is reading and learning from each of our experiences as attempting to live in this nation and the world!
Thank You
Did The Clinton campaign purchase this site, too? ;)
Seems like everytime the Clinton campaign raises an issue about Obama, it's always the leading story here.
Anyway, I'll be "present" at the voting booth for Barak.
Good stuff, good site... but if you have to put up tabloid-y stuff, please do it to a designated page if you must put it up...Stuff like the male prostitute dishing dirt on the dead hedge funder is just ridiculous. Such people don't deserve a public forum for their outrageous
Change the look. It's becoming to generic. Use some creativity.
Ease up on useless bells and whistles and tech gimmickry that frustrates and annoys people.
Minimize photographs. It's way over done. It clutters everything and they are way to "in your face". It annoying.
Don't over spin headlines.
I agree with some of the earlier comments. I just added Norton 360 and thought that was the reason for the slowness on refreshing posts, changing to a different post theme, like going from politics to media. My new Norton does not seem to like pop ups. Maybe I am wrong but do the adds on the site prevent you from moving on just to trap your attention? The thought comes from video sites that make you watch an add prior to showing the video that you do want to watch. This annoys me a lot. I hate advertisements.
Keep developing the site. I like it. The only thing I would like to see is less potty mouth. Some words that some posters use are over the line. If a person can not come up with a criticism of another comment, and just posts a foul swear word comment then I don't think we need to see that. Everyone is entitled to a different point of view depending on their life experiences but swear words cause people to not want their children to view your site and I think that is a loss for their ability to find diverse political views.
For the last week, my computer's had a lot of problems with Huffpost. When I go to this website, my computer freezes, and I have to wait a while for my computer to pull up the whole home page. Moving to a different page in this website is very slow too.
I don't have this problem with other websites, and this started about a week ago.
Does anyone else have this problem suddenly with this website?
Sounds good to me. In general, I suggest
1.) try to keep the Hollywood info and lifestyle comments separate from news and opinion.
2.) broaden the news info available, such (as suggested) environmental and-or alternative energy discussions
3.) if possible, make Huffpo something that not only reports on politics (as important as that is), but broaden it so that it can replace the MSM that are being sidelined by the likes of Mr. Murdoch. With the recent FCC rulings from the Bush people, there is going to be an even greater need for independent, investigative news.
Thank You, please keep up the good work, love what you have done here at Huff Po.
Yea! To the improvements fiddaledee to the Naysayers! Children and Old Grumps hate change. HuffPost IS the best sourse of information on The Planet. Continued success and more posters will follow. Hint to Naysayers-Ads fuel this site. It's business.
I would like a way to get rid of the "new comments" pop up. It drives me nuts taking up the screen and half the time if I hit update, just to get rid of that popup, it just reappears again. And many times you hit the darn thing and there are no new posts displayed anyways.
Another thing I have always wondered is why the "see all posts" link is so small. I wonder how many people who are new to the site do not know it is there. I wonder how many posts are not read because of this.
But even though I have given these suggestions, I want you to know that the overall site is very good.
My problem is with all the ads that take the pages so long to load; Adclick and what-have-you. Sometimes I just leave because it takes forever to navigate, and that's a shame, becuase I love me some Huffpo!
