Every year in March, New York City is taken over by the art community for a week of art fairs, gallery openings and of course parties. It is the art world's fashion week, but unlike the tents at Lincoln Center, the public is invited in. 100,000+ people get a chance to see and buy works from $500 to $10M. Don't be surprised if you find yourselves looking at the same piece work with a billionaire hedge funder on one side or hollywood/art world celebrities Steve Martin, James Franco, Marc Jacobs and Kanye West on the other. Check out the slideshow for Artlog's guide.

Check out the slide show for information about The Armory Show, The ADAA's Art Show, VOLTA NY, PULSE and a special sculpture exhibition in the middle of Times Square. For Artlog.com's full listing of all the events and fairs, click here.
