Aaron Marr Page is Managing Attorney at Forum Nobis PLLC, a Washington, D.C.-based public interest law firm that helps individuals, communities, and organizations address issues of international law, human rights, and the environment in forums of law, policy, and public opinion. He is an adjunct professor of international human rights and environmental law at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, and has previously lived, worked, and taught in Ecuador, Egypt, South Africa, and Cambodia. Mr. Page has worked with indigenous and other communities affected by human rights abuses and environmental/developmental threats for over a decade. In particular, he has worked for over a decade with the Ecuadorian Amazon communities suing Chevron Corporation for a clean-up of the massive oil contamination still left on their ancestral lands. Mr. Page edits the International Litigation chapter of the American Bar Association-International Law Section's annual Year in Review publication and also blogs at CSRwire.com. Mr. Page is also involved in criminal justice reform efforts and is regularly appointed to litigate criminal justice appeals in the District of Columbia.
