Born and raised in Clinton, Oklahoma, Mr. Banner was a high-school championship football player who went on to earn his B.A. in Philosophy, with Academic Distinction, at the University of Oklahoma.
From there, he attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law as a merit scholar, where he earned his Juris Doctorate Magna Cum Laude and graduated number ten overall in his class. During law school, Adam interned at the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office for three years, where he gained invaluable courtroom experience, all the while honing his skill in criminal defense.
In his current private practice, the Oklahoma Legal Group, Mr. Banner specializes in felony criminal defense, with a focus on both drug crimes and sex crimes. He has a solid record of favorable results for his clients through both jury trials and motion hearings. Aside from his courtroom experience, Adam is also an accomplished appellate attorney, having drafted various high-profile Oklahoma appeals.
Adam is a published author, with articles appearing in various media formats, from statewide newspapers to various national legal blogs.
He is a member of local, state and national bar associations, and is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of Oklahoma and all inferior Oklahoma State courts, all Oklahoma Federal District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
