Adriana Aristizabal is an Award-winning journalist, she started her career as a television war reporter for RCN a global television company in south america. She covered the war in Colombia from the front lines for nearly 7 years. In 2003, she published the Best Selling book, “FARC's Stash, I Found It”. One year later she moved to New York City to start a diplomatic career as Consul of Colombia. Throughout her career, Adriana has been recognized for her dedication and achievements including an award for 'Outstanding Journalistic Performance' from the Colombian Congress in 2003, a Proclamation of recognition for her contribution to the community from the City Council of New York in 2010, and the 'Outstanding Women' award from El Diario la Prensa in 2014. Currently Adriana is Principal at Concise Marketing & Communications and is publishing her second book 'Caught in the Storm of War: Memoirs of a War Reporter' with York House Press in New York City.
