Alex Stupak Executive chef, Empellón Cocina & Empellón Taqueria

Alex Stupak is the executive chef at Empellón Cocina and Empellón Taqueria where Alex creates dishes inspired by the flavors and techniques of Mexican cuisine. Prior to opening his own restaurants, Alex was a pastry chef at Alinea in Chicago and wd~50 in New York. In addition to being named a Best New Chef by Food & Wine Magazine in 2013, The James Beard Foundation nominated Empellón Cocina as a finalist for Best New Restaurant.
