Ali is a 27 year old activist. She attended the University of Southern California where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theatre. After college, Ali worked as a Teach for America corps member at a charter school in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. While she was teaching, she also received her Masters in Special Education for Grades 1-6. Originally, Ali's main interests and area of activism were the arts and equal opportunity education as well as institutionalized sexism and racism. Recently, Ali has turned her attention to the fight for affordable health care and the funding of Planned Parenthood after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016.
