Alok Vaid-Menon is a transfeminine South Asian writer, performance artist, and community organizer based in NYC. for the past six years they have organized in solidarity with racial, economic, and gender justice movements across the world. Their creative and political work grapples with questions of power, trauma, diaspora, race, and desire. Alok currently works with The Audre Lorde Project and is on tour with DarkMatter, a trans South Asian art collaboration with Janani Balasubramanian.
