Amy Gutman Senior Facilitator, The OpEd Project

Amy Gutman’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Salon, and The New York Law Journal, among other publications. She is the author of two suspense novels -- "Equivocal Death" and "The Anniversary" -- both published by Little, Brown and was a speechwriter for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan during her tenure as dean of Harvard Law School.

Previously, Amy designed and served as founding director of the Mississippi Teacher Corps, practiced law in New York, and worked as a newspaper reporter in Tennessee and Mississippi. A graduate of Harvard Law School, she lives in western Massachusetts.
