ANDY STERN is the President Emeritus of the 2.2 million-member Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and is now a Senior Fellow at The Economic Security Project. SEIU grew by more than 1.2 million workers during his tenure, members built the largest political action fund in the country, led the fight for universal health care, and the campaign for a $15.00 minimum wage, Stern has been featured on The Colbert Show, 60 Minutes, CNN, Charlie Rose, and on the covers of the New York Times Magazine, Fortune, and Business Week, and is now a leading advocate for a universal basic income.
