Bill Thompson III’s most recent book is THE YOUNG BIRDER’S GUIDE TO BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA. He is the editor of BIRD WATCHER’S DIGEST and the author of IDENTIFYING AND FEEDING BIRDS, HUMMINGBIRDS AND BUTTERFLIES, and IDENTIFY YOURSELF. Bill is a highly sought-after speaker and trip leader on the birding festival circuit. He lives with his wife and their two children on eighty birdy acres in Ohio.
