Brendan Fallis

DJ

Canadian import Brendan Fallis has made a name for himself in the DJ community through his exceptional ability to read a crowd and his incredible taste in music. With an expertise in Electro, House, Rock, Alternative, '80s, '90s, Oldies, Hip Hop, Funk, Punk, and Pop/Club Hits, Fallis is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after artists in his industry.

Brendan began DJing nightclub parties, which naturally led to him private event bookings. In the past two years, Brendan has provided music for some of the biggest events world-wide, for clients including Vogue (he is one of their official DJs), Alexander Wang, Chanel, Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Jill Stuart, InStyle, Interview Magazine, Esquire, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Target, GAP, GUESS, Ferrari, Wildfox, Levi’s, Cre8tive Recreation, Fiat, Haviannas and Victoria Secret, among others. As manager and official DJ for Theophilus London, he has traveled the world backing the artist for crowds of over 10,000.

Fallis is also in high demand in the hospitality industry, throwing down tracks for The Soho House Group, Thompson Hotels, Ace Hotels, The Standard Hotels, Dream Hotels, Gansevoort Hotels, the Jane Hotel and nightlife hotspots such as the Boom Boom Room, Rose Bar and The Darby. He also has been commission by W Hotels to create exclusive mixes for their properties worldwide.

Born and raised in the small town of Durham, Ontario, Brendan developed a passion for music at an early age. It was by listening to his father's solid gold oldies tapes that he began to hone an ear for sound, specifically the different types of music. It was in 2001, after Fallis began skiing with Team Canada and traveling the globe, that he began to see music as his personal outlet and contemplated ways to incorporate music into his life and career.

A trained pianist, Brendan used his understanding of sound and composition as a way to differentiate himself from the growing trend of "global DJs." He has often stated that, when playing music, he neglects to listen to the lyrics and instead focuses on the sound of the artist's vocals.

In addition to DJing, Fallis manages the design duo Dee & Ricky and is the head of two impressive startup companies, NMKRT, an online shopping community, and Waiola, a 100 percent natural coconut water.
