Interactive marketing, advocacy and movement building
Brian Komar directs the interactive marketing, social advocacy, CRM and evaluation teams at the Center for American Progress. He previously worked for ten years at the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, a coalition of more than 200 civil and human rights organizations where he was responsible for strategic communications activities, served as a senior policy advisor, and helped coordinate the coalition’s online and offline lobbying, communications, and grassroots activities on several advocacy campaigns. Brian was a co-founder of NEXT, a political action committee for emerging progressive leaders. He writes about interactive marketing, movement building, culture, and activism.
